Description

I became interested in biology as a young child. Many family members were longtime employees of the San Diego Zoo and so it was natural for me to be at the zoo before, during, and after zoo hours most summer days. As a teen I became very involved in horses and hiking. I was later able to combine these two passions with a B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management (Natural Resources emphasis) and a minor in Zoology.
