Hello! My name is Cody. I am a math tutor located in Oshkosh, WI.
I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. There, I worked as a professional tutor. I worked one-on-one with students, helping them learn math ranging from algebra to calculus II. I also tutored groups of students for an applied calculus course. In addition, I spent a decent amount of time in college exchanging math help for meals!
I have experience tutoring students with all levels of math...
Algebra I is the foundation of all higher mathematics. Topics covered include, among others: graphing, polynomials, algebraic expressions, integers, variables, linear equations, and quadratic equations.
Algebra II is a continuation of algebra I, and is also the foundation for all of higher mathematics. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: real numbers, algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, graphing, functions and functional notation, rational expressions and rational exponents, radicals, complex numbers, quadratics, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations, and sequences and series.
Geometry is the mathematical study of spaces and shapes. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: points, lines, planes, the proof process, parallels, triangles, similarity, polygons, right triangles, circles, area, surface area, and volume.
Prealgebra prepares students for the foundational courses in algebra.
